First-aid measures

Description of first-aid measures:
- General advice: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
- Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Keep
eye wide open while rinsing. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
- Skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation
develops and persists. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Destroy
contaminated shoes.
- Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water.
Consult a physician if necessary. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Get medical attention
immediately if symptoms occur.
- Protection of First-aiders: Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
- Main Symptoms: Redness. Rash. May cause redness, itching, and pain.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
- Notes to physician: May cause sensitization of susceptible persons. Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:
- Suitable Extinguishing Media: Dry chemical, CO2, sand, earth, water spray or regular foam. Move containers from fire area if you can do it without risk. Dike fire-control water for later disposal.
- Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire. Cool containers / tanks with water spray.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
- Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors. Runoff may pollute waterways.

Advice for firefighters:
- As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
- Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unless wearing appropriate protective clothing. Use personal protective
equipment. Avoid contact with the skin and the eyes.
- Ventilate the area.

Environmental precautions:
- Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Should not be released into the environment. Local authorities should be
advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
- Methods for Containment: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Dike to collect large liquid spills.

Methods for cleaning up:
- Soak up with inert absorbent material. Pick up and transfer to properly labeled containers. If liquid has been spilt in large quantities
clean up promptly by scoop or vacuum. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:
- Advice on safe handling: Prevent splashing and leaking of product. Prevent the formation of vapors, mists and aerosols. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid breathing vapors or mists. Wear personal protective equipment. Wash thoroughly after handling.
- Hygiene measures: Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, or using tobacco. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
- Technical measures/Storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
