Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

If released to soil, Corfree® M1 is predicted to partition into the organic component of soils and sediments, given an estimated soil absorption coefficient (Log Koc) value of 2.6k (EPI Suite™ v3.20), which could be affected by pH changes given the acidic nature of the product. The estimated half-life for Corfree® M1 in soil is approximately 17 days and is consistent with DDDA. The estimated log Kow value is 2.68 suggesting that Corfree® M1 has a low potential to bioaccumulate (EPI Suite v3.20).

Additional information

If released to soil, Corfree® M1 is predicted to partition into the organic component of soils and sediments, given an estimated soil absorption coefficient (Log Koc) value of 2.6k (EPI Suite™ v3.20), which could be affected by pH changes given the acidic nature of the product. It should be noted that this mid-level Log Koc value doesn’t exclude the possibility of Corfree® M1 traveling to groundwater. The MacKay Level III Fugacity model predicts the bulk of Corfree® M1 (about 81%) released to the environment will partition to soil, with the balance partitioning to water. Negligible amounts would partition to air or sediment (EPI Suite™ v3.20).
