Description of key information

Preliminary TGA

Instrument: Q50 thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) (TA Instruments, USA)
Sample container: aluminum, closed with a lid in which a small hole was drilled

5.82 mg test substance was heated with a rate of 20°C/minute from 25°C to 401°C. At this point 70% weight loss of the test substance was observed. After the experiment, the sample was cooled to 50°C and the consistency of the test substance was determined.

DSC experiment

Instrument: Q100 differential scanning calorimeter (TA Instruments, USA)
Sample container: aluminum, closed with a lid in which a small hole was drilled
Reference: empty sample container

4.79 mg test substance was heated with a rate of 20°C/minute from 25°C to 374°C.

The experiments were performed under a flow of nitrogen and at atmospheric pressure.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
