Additional information

One reliable GLP study is available for the substance. The toxicity to freshwater fish was determined according to OECD TG No. 203 and OECD Guidance document No. 23 on aquatic toxicity testing of difficult substances and mixtures.

Fish (Danio rerio) were exposed to Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs) of the substance at loading rates of 0.5, 1.0, 1.7, 3.1, 5.6 and 10 mg/L over a test period of 96 hours (semi-static test, daily renewal, closed system). Quantifications to provide an indication of the stability of the WAFs were performed daily in old and new solutions by adding all the chromatographic peak areas to obtain an overall test item concentration. Moreover, two constituents present in the test item were individually quantified.

The 96h-LC50 was determined to be 5.07 mg/L based on the nominal loading rates.
