Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Two experimental studies for the determination of the auto-ignition temperature were conducted with two different batches of the substance.
Batch I23-090312 : auto-ignition temperature = 230°C
Batch 129958 : auto-ignition temperature = 245°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
230 °C

Additional information

Experimental studies were performed on two different batches of the substance in order to determine

the auto-ignition temperature according to the EU-Method A.15 and DIN 51794 standard. The auto-ignition temperature is the lowest temperature at which a substance will spontaneously ignite in a normal atmosphere without an external source of ignition such as flame of spark.

The auto-ignition temperatures for batch I23-090312 and batch 129958 were determined to be respectively 230°C and 245°C.

The lowest value (worst case) was retained as key value for the chemical safety assessment.
