The flash point was determined according to EU Method A.9 (Flash point), using a closed cup equilibrium method.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of testing was 101.5 kPa. The flash point of reference substance 99878 -3 was 74.0°C when corrected for atmospeheric pressure. The performance of the apparatus was therefore considered satisfactory. MK92K was observed to exhibit a flash at a mean temperature of 55.0 °C, when corrected to standard atmospheric pressure, using the closed cup equilibrium method.
