Description of key information

Skin Sensitisation – No classification based on Read Across approach

Based on read across, data for structural analogues 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, isononyl ester, manuf. of, by-products from (C9 Discard Alcohol) and 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, tridecyl ester, manuf. of, by-products from (C13 Discard Alcohol) indicate the submission substance is not a skin sensitiser. For the structural analogues, in vivo murine Local Lymph Node Assay testing data (OECD 429) indicated that the substances were not sensitisers. Therefore a 'no classification' is warranted.
