The test substance is expected to be very soluble (> 10000 mg/L).

The Roquette Safety Data Sheets report the solubility of the test substance as "totally soluble". Converting the density information presented in the Merck Index for sorbitol, the calculated water solubility is at least 901530 mg/L. Based on this information, it is scientifically reasonable to expect the solubility to be > 10000 mg/L (very soluble).
