Conclusions:
The test substance sample provided a mean melting point of 49.2 ± 0.4°C (322.4K) and a mean melting range from 49.2 ± 0.4°C (322.4K) to 72.8 ± 0.3°C (346.0K).
Executive summary:

Tests were performed to determine the melting and boiling point/range of the test substance. The study was performed based on procedures in the U.S. EPA Product Properties Test Guidelines, OPPTS 830.7200,Melting Point/Melting Range(1); OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals, 102,Melting Point/Melting Range(2); U.S. EPA Product Properties Test Guidelines, OPPTS 830.7220,Boiling Point/Boiling Range(3); and OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals, 103,Boiling Point(4). The experimental portion of the study was conducted between January 20 and 21, 2016.

The test substance sample provided a mean melting point of 49.2 ± 0.4°C (322.4K) and a mean melting range from 49.2 ± 0.4°C (322.4K) to 72.8 ± 0.3°C (346.0K).

Storage Condition: Room Temperatire in the dark
Expiry date: September 2004

Decomposition:
no
Conclusions:
The melting range of the test substance was found to be 71.0 to 73.5 oC at normal atmospheric pressure
Executive summary:

The melting temperature was determined using the metal block method.

Dried test substance was pulverised to a fine powder and a small amount tightly packed into a capillary tube to a height of 3 mm. Following an initial estimation of melting point, the melting point apparatus was set at approximately 10°C below the expected melting temperature. The capillary tube was placed in the apparatus and heated at 1°C/minute until melting was complete. The procedure was performed in duplicate using a fresh sample on each occasion.

The melting range of the test substance was found to be 71.0 to 73.5°C.

Description of key information

Two studies were performed on the registered substance. The substance a mean melting range from 49.2 to 73.5 °C
