A reliable flash point of 161 °C has been determined for Tall Oil Heads using an appropriate test method (Abel close cup method).
Based on experience in use, TOH does not have pyrophoric properties and is not flammable in contact with water. It can therefore be concluded on the basis of available data and based on experience in use and handling that Heads is not flammable or highly flammable.
