Exposure controls / personal protection

The substance is used as intermediate under strictly controlled conditions.

Eye/face protection: Safety glasses according to standard EN 166; face-shield

Hand protection: Gloves resistant to chemical products according to standard EN and Community directives. The material of the gloves must be waterproof and stable for contact with the substance. Choose the material of the gloves on the basis of the breakthrough time, rates of permeation and degradation.

Body protection: Choose the suitable protective gear according to the activity and the exposure.

Respiratory protection: If necessary use respirators tested and approved by competent certifying bodies, such as NIOSH (USA) and CEN (EU). For short and minimum exposure, use a full-face mask (EN 136) with built-in respirator; for more intense and long-lasting exposure, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Stability and reactivity

The substance is stable in normal temperature and pressure conditions and if stored in closed containers in a cool, ventilated area.
