The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 250 ± 5 °C.
Executive summary:

The determination was carried out using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. The test flask was heated in a flask heater. Aliquots of test item (tested as received) were injected into the flask using a syringe and the flask was observed for signs of ignition over a 300 second period. This procedure was repeated, varying the sample size, as necessary, until the lowest temperature at which ignition, if any, occurred within 300 seconds of insertion, was determined. Where clean flasks were not used, the flask was flushed with air between sample insertions. The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 250 ± 5 °C.
