Structural considerations

The test substance does not contain functional groups that can lead to explosive properties.

DSC testing (see melting point entry, 4.2)

Two tests were performed using 9.53 and 5.59 mg of test itme. In the first test, a small exotherm with low enthalpy was observed above 500°C on a rising baseline. In the second test, a similar rising baseline was observed, but no exotherm. Therefore, the result was considered to be negative. In addition, the enthalpy of the exotherm at 500°C is below the cut-off value.
