Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The ready biodegradation of the substance in water under the conditions of the carbon dioxide (CO2) evolution test (modified Sturm test) was investigated according to OECD guideline 301B and GLP principles. A single test concentration of 12 mg/L (as TOC) was tested during 28 days.
No significant biodegradation of the substance was observed (11% after 28d). Therefore it was concluded that the substance was not readily biodegradable under the conditions of the modified Sturm test presently performed

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The ready biodegradation of the substance in water under the conditions of the carbon dioxide (CO2) evolution test (modified Sturm test) was investigated according to OECD guideline 301B and GLP principles. A single test concentration of 12 mg/L (as TOC) was tested during 28 days.

No significant biodegradation of the substance was observed (11% after 28d). Therefore it was concluded that the substance was not readily biodegradable under the conditions of the modified Sturm test presently performed.

In the toxicity control more than 25% biodegradation occurred within 14 days (34%, based on ThCO2). Therefore, the test substance was assumed not to inhibit microbial activity at a nominal concentration of 27.5 mg/L.

The study is considered to be reliable without restrictions.
