Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
In case of skin contact: Wash off with soap and water.
Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
In case of eye contact: Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water.
Remove contact lenses.
Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
If swallowed: Rinse mouth with water.
Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do by medical per-sonnel.
Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms: No symptoms known or expected.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local cir-cumstances and the surrounding environment.
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or car-bon dioxide.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: None known.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Specific hazards during firefighting: In a fire or if heated, a pressure increase will occur and the container may burst.
Runoff to sewer may create fire or explosion hazard.
Toxic and irritating gases/fumes may be given off during burn-ing or thermal decomposition.
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Carbon monoxide
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode.
Further information: Promptly isolate the scene by removing all persons from the vicinity of the incident if there is a fire.
No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.
Move containers from fire if this can be done without risk.
Use a water spray to cool fully closed containers.
Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.
Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Personal precautions: No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.
Evacuate personnel to safe areas.
Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering.
Do not touch or walk through spilt material.
Remove all sources of ignition.
Do not breathe vapours or spray mist.
Provide adequate ventilation.
Wear respiratory protection when its use is identified for cer-tain contributing scenario.
Put on appropriate personal protection equipment.
Environmental precautions: Avoid dispersal of spilt material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Methods for cleaning up: Use spark-proof tools and explosion-proof equipment.
Wash spillages into an effluent treatment plant or proceed as follows.
Contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible ab-sorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, ver-miculite) and place in container for disposal according to local / national regulations. Disposed off through appropriate waste disposal carri-ers/authorities.
Contaminated absorbent material may pose the same hazard as the spilled product.

Handling and storage

Manufacture and use of this chemical intermediate takes place under strictly controlled conditions, as described in Art. 17/18 REACH. The substance is rigorouslycontained during manufacturing and use and appropriate risk management measures including PPE (i.g. during charging or sampling) are applied. Occupational exposure is reduced to a minimum and well controlled by measurements. A management system covering all general aspects of a chemical production is in place, especially cleaning and maintenance of plants and equipment. An authorisation scheme based on instructions covering the whole process ensures that only trained and authorised staff handles the substance.
Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling: Avoid formation of aerosol.
Do not breathe vapours/dust.
Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the ap-plication area.
Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling compounds and before eating, smoking and using the lavatory and at the end of the day.
Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national regulations.
Hygiene measures: Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling chemical products, before eating, smoking and using the lava-tory and at the end of the working period. Appropriate tech-niques should be used to remove potentially contaminated clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before reusing. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials and food and drink. Keep container closed when not in use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Do not store together with oxidizing and self-igniting products. Use appropriate container to avoid environmental contamination.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters
Contains no substances with occupational exposure limit values.
Exposure controls
Engineering measures: Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control worker exposure to airborne contaminants.
Personal protective equipment
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields
Hand protection
Material: Butyl rubber - IIR
Material: Nitrile rubber - NBR
Remarks: After contamination with product change the gloves immedi-ately and dispose of them according to relevant national and local regulations
The suitability for a specific workplace should be discussed with the producers of the protective gloves.
Skin and body protection: Wear protective clothing.
Choose body protection according to the amount and con-centration of the dangerous substance at the work place.
Respiratory protection: if product forms vapour/aerosol.
Vapour respirator
Filter type: ABEK-filter

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: No specific test data related to reactivity available for this product or its ingredients.
Chemical stability: The product is chemically stable.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
Hazardous reactions: No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
Conditions to avoid: Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind, or ex-pose such containers to heat, flame, sparks, or other sources of ignition. They may explode and cause injury and/or death.
Incompatible materials
Materials to avoid: No specific data.
Hazardous decomposition products: No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods
Product: The generation of waste should be avoided or minimised wherever possible.
This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way.
Empty containers retain product residue; observe all precautions for product.
Avoid dispersal of spilt material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
