The substance may cause an allergic skin reaction and is classified as Skin sensitisation category 1B which is assigned, when follow Part E Table E 3 -1, to hazard category "Moderate hazard" and undergo using adequate RMMs.
Long-term hazard via inhalation and dermal route was quantified by determining DNEL value based on Repeated toxicity study by oral route and follow REACH Guidance.

A marked fuel is used only by professional workers and as final product contains only 6-9 mg/L the substance Solvent Yellow 124 based on Commission Decision. Use of a fuel is intermittent and the substance has a very low vapour presure for hazard by inhalation route, contact with skin occur predominantly by accident and oral exposure is assumed by accident too. Moreover there is need to take into accout risk from using fuel as such.
Reference:
Chemical analysis and mutagenicity tests on exhausts from coloured and non-coloured environmental class I diesel showed no significant differences. The fraction of unburnt Solvent Yellow 124 in the emissions from a diesel engine and from a domestic boiler was shown to be less than 0.01 % and 0.0001 %, respectively (Grägg et al 1995).
Hovever, following REACH Guidance a long-term hazard via inhalation, dermal and oral route were quantified by determinating DNEL value based on Repeated toxicity study by oral route.
