Additional information

One study is available investigating the toxicity to the aquatic freshwater algae Pseudokirchnerella subcapitata according to the OECD Guideline 201 (Hoberg, 2009). Algae were exposed to nominal test concentrations of 1.0, 2.6, 6.4, 16, 40, 100 mg/L. Test concentrations were measured at the beginning and after 48 h and 72 h the end of exposure. Test substance concentrations ranged from 70 – 94% of nominal over the time of exposure. Thus, the effect concentrations were based on the mean measured concentrations (Time Weighted Average). An EC50 of 11 mg/L resulted based on the growth rate.
