Description of key information

In accordance with section 2 of REACH Annex XI, this study does not need to be conducted because the flash point is only relevant for liquids and low melting point solids.

Supportingly, a GLP study, conducted according to EU Method A.9 and ASTM D 6450 has been conducted using the closed cup – electric arc method to determine the flash point of Calcium (S)-lactate. No flash point was observed up to 200 °C.
