Description of key information

Based on the available information on the intrinsic properties of the substance (hydrolytically instable, negative partition coefficient, non-ionic transformation products) and the identified single use in industrial polymerization processes, a relevant exposure of the sediment is not expected. A calculation using SimpleTreat 4 for the behaviour of the substance in a municipal STP indicated no tendency of the substance to adsorb on particulate matter/sludge (100 % release via wastewater)
