According to ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment. Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance p 78: The study needs only to be conducted if: based on structure, surface activity is expected or can be predicted; or surface activity is a desired property of the material and/or the solubility is less than 1 mg/L. No surface active properties are expected, because of the absence of a hydrophilic headgroup in the structure and the solubility is lower than 1 µg/L.
