First-aid measures

Inhalation:

Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. Consult a doctor.

Skin contact:

Change contaminated, saturated clothing.

After contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and plenty of water.

In case of skin reactions, consult a physician.

Eye contact:

In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart.

In case of eye irritation consult an opthalmologist.

Ingestion:

Do NOT induce vomiting.

Give nothing to drink.

Seek medical advice.

Protection of the first aider:

Wear safety gloves and goggles and protective clothing

Fire-fighting measures

All fire extinguishing media are appropriate (water, foam, powders, carbon dioxide, sand, ...)

No inappropirate extinguishing media to our knowledge

Specific dangers:

generation of very irritating vapors during combustion

Special intervention methods:

Evacuate persons and protect from smoke. Do not breathe smoke. Cool down installations and packaging with water mist. Do NOT inervene without appropriate protective equipment.

Protection of fire fighters: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:

Wear personal protection equipment.

Avoid skin and eye contact. Do not breath vapor.

Do not allow to enter into environment.

Do not intervene without appropirate protective equiment. (PVC gloves, goggles, protective clothing)

Stop the spill avoiding any contact.

Remove all combustibles

Environmental precautions:

Make sure spills can be contained (e.g. sump pallets or kerbed areas).

Methods for cleaning up:

Large quantities - pump into approriate container, correctly labelled for disposal.

Small quantities - take up with sand and place in approriate container, correctly labelled for disposal.

Elimination - dispose of at certified waste handling facility
