First-aid measures

- General advice:

Call a physician : show him this safety data sheet

- Following inhalation:

Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, perform artificial resuscitation. If breathing is difficult give oxygen. Refer patient to a physician

- Following skin contact:

Rinse thoroughly with copious amounts of water for 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes promptly and wash before reuse. In the event of any adverse effects, obtain appropriate medical attention.

- Following eye contact:

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids open to ensure cleansing. In the event of persistent irritation, seek medical attention

- Following ingestion:

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Wash out the mouth with water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, keep airway clear. Call a physician.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

pulverized water, carbonic anhydride, dry chemical powder or

appropriate foam

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Thermal decomposition may produce carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxides

- Advice for fire fighter: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions:

Wear a dust mask and gloves.

- Environmental precautions:

Keep spill out of drains and prevent entry to surface water, groundwater and soil.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Recovery : Stop leaks/spills. Vacuum or scoop spilled material. Place spillage in appropriate container(s) for waste disposal

Neutralisation : Wash spill site thoroughly after material pick up is complete.

Disposal : Dispose in accordance with all applicable national and local environmental regulations and laws.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

   Technical measures : Not restricted

Precautions : Avoid contact with eyes or other mucous membranes. thoroughly after handling. Do not permit eating, smoking or drinking in the vicinity. Ensure adequate ventilation.
