Description of key information

The substance is ready biodegradable (ThCO2 > 60 % in 28 days).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

Tris(ethyl acetoacetato-O1',O3)aluminium was tested for ready-biodegradation according to the guideline OECD TG 301B.

The mean degradation (ThCO2) was major than 60 % in 28 days and the sample is ready biodegradable. The experiment was valid because one of the replicates met the 10-d time window criterion (from 6th to 16th day).
