Additional information

A 96-hour static test was carried out according to OECD 203 test guidelines, to determine the acute toxicity of potassium dicyanoaurate to Oncorhynchus mykiss (Brixham 2013).A range-finding and definitive test were performed with one replicate of 3 and 7 fish respectively. Fish were exposed to 5 concentrations of potassium dicyanoaurate and a control.

LC50, NOEC and LOEC values are reported and as measured concentrations of gold were maintained throughout the test, results are expressed as nominal concentrations.
