Description of key information

The study does not need to be conducted as potassium hydrogendifluoride will slowly decompose with elimination of HF at temperatures above 180 ° C. The rate of decomposition will rise with the increase of the temperature, having its maximum at 340°C. Above 400 ° C it is likely that the KHF2 is completely converted to potassium fluoride.
