Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Conclusions:
The LC 100 value for Ceriodaphnia dubia was found to be 20 µg L-1 after 48 hrs of exposure with Sulfuric acid, Mercury(2+) salt(1:1) (7783-35-9)
Executive summary:

Acute toxicity test was performed on Ceriodaphnia dubia for 48 hrs using neonates. The experiment was performed in 100 mL beaker having 50 ml test solution. Experiment design was static with six concentrations having 4 replicates in which five organisms were stocked in each replicates. The tested concentrations in the binary mixtures were

Σ 0.5, Σ 1.0, Σ 1.5, Σ 2.0 and Σ 2.5 toxic units. Mortality was the effect measured in experiment and number of animals was counted at 24 and 48 hrs.

Therefore, on the basis of above experiment the LC 100 value for Ceriodaphnia dubia was found to be 20 µg L-1after 48 hrs of exposure with Sulfuric acid, Mercury(2+) salt(1:1) (7783-35-9).
