Biodegradation:

No data are available for the test substance. The data gap , however, can be brighed by a valid read across to decyloxirane (CAS 2855 -19 -8) : Decyloxirane was tested in a new OECD 301 B test. The 10d window was shortly failed with > 50% after 10d. After 28d a degradation of 60-70% was recorded. Based on the available test result the test substance is regraded to readily biodegradable , but failling the 10d window.

Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation tests

Endpoint is waived

Biodegradation in soil:

Endpoint is waived

Adsoption /desoption:

In Annex VIII column 2 of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), it is suggested, that a study on Adsorption /desorption does not need to be conducted if the " substance decompose rapidly. Since the substance is readily biodegradable is it assumed that it also decompose rapidly in soil. Therefore data for adsorption are not provided.
