First-aid measures

After Inhalation: Supply fresh air. If required, provide artificial respiration. Keep patient warm. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

After Skin contact: Instantly wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Seek immediate medical advice.

After Eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Seek immediate medical

advice.

After Swallowing: Seek immediate medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: C02, extinguishing powder or water jet. Fight larger fires with water jet or alcohol resistant foam.

Special hazards caused by the material, its products of combustion or flue gases, can be released in case of fire: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide

Hydrogen Chloride (HCl), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear full protective suit.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautuions and emergency procedure: Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Measures for environmental protection: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided. Do not allow material to be released to the environment without proper governmental permits.

Measures for cleaning/collecting: Contain spillage if safe to do so. Ensure adecuate ventilation. Absorb with liquid binding material (sand, earth, diatomate earth, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust) . Collect spillage and place in container for disposal according to local/national regulations.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use. Keep containers tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed containers. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. Open and handle containers wiht care.

Conditions for safe storage: Store in cool location. Store away from  strong oxidising agents and bases. Keep container tightly sealed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Additional information about design of technical systems: Properly operating chemical fume hood designed for hazardous chemicals and having an average face velocity of at least 100 feet per minute.

General protective measures, personal protective equipment: The usual precautionary measures should be adhered to in handling chemicals Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and food. Instantly remove any soiled and impregnated garments. Wash hands during breaks and at the end of the work. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Breathing equipment: Use breathing protection with high concentrations.

Protection of hands: Check protective gloves prior to each use for their proper condition.

Material of gloves: The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Eye protection: Safety glasses.

Body protection: Protective work clothing

Stability and reactivity

Conditions to avoid: Stable under normal conditions.

Incompatibilities: Strong alkaline agents. Strong oxidising agents.

Hazards combustion or decomposition products: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen chloride (HCl), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx).

Disposal considerations

Substance disposal: Handover to disposers of hazardous waste. Must be specially treated under adherence to official regulations. Consult state, local or national regulations for proper disposal. Arrange disposal as special waste, by licensed disposal company.

Waste packaging: Dispose of as unused product.
