Description of key information
The dynamic viscosity of 3-isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate was determined according to OECD TG 114 (1981). At 20 °C ± 0.2 °C the viscosity ranged between 18 and 26 mPa s at a shear rate from 20 to 100 s-1. The viscosity of 3-isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate was determined to be 14.2 mPa s at 20 °C ± 0.2 °C and 7.41 mPa s at 40 °C ± 0.2 °C at a constant shear rate of 1000 s-1. 3-Isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate was considered to be a Newtonian fluid.
