Additional information

Different studys were conducted and a literature review was made. The boiling point of 1-2-hydroxyethylpyrrolidin-2-one was determined to be in the same range. Both studies were comparable to guideline studies with acceptable restrictions. The normal boiling point was obtained from the regression equation of the vapoure pressure - measured by dynamic method.

The recent study determined the boiling point to be 309.33 °C at 1013.25 hPa, the elder one 309.7 °C at 1013.25 hPa. This was sported by the Handbook of Environmental Data on Organic Chemicals where the boiling point is described at 309 ° C.

The value from the recent studie was chosen as key value for the boiling point.
