Description of key information

No experimental data on the substance in itself was available, thus the assessement was based on predictions carried out by OECD QSAR Toolbox along with EPI Suite and considerations on chemical structure and physicochemical properties of the substance.

The substance was considered as stable under environmental conditions. In particular, the substance was not found to be prone to hydrolysis under acidic, basic and neutral pH conditions due to the lack of hydrolysable groups. Moreover, it was expected to be non-ready biodegradable, based on its technical function as a dye.

A low adsorption potential was expected due to the low log Pow of -2.26 and the high water solubility of 305 g/l. Accordingly, a high affinity with the aqueous phase and a high mobility was expected.
