other: The temperature of the oven at which the sample reaches 400°C by self-heating is appointed as the self-ignition temperature of the test substance.

Small differences (<20°C) between sample and oven temperature were observed during the performance of the test.

Using a linear increase in temperature of 0.5°C/min, the test substance showed two exothermic reactions. The first exothermic reaction started at an oven temperature of about 150°C. The test substance increased to a maximum temperature of 200°C at an oven temperature of 150°C. The second exothermic reaction started at an oven temperature of about 315°C. The test substance temperature increased to a maximum of 395°C at an oven temperature of 315°C. This second exothermic effect was observed after melting of the test substance (melting temperature of the test substance: see results of the DSC study) and has therefore not to be seen as relevant.

The test substance had melted and changed into a white/gray residue.

Conclusions:
The substance is not self-ignitable. The temperature of the oven at which the sample reaches 400°C by self-heating is appointed as the self-ignition temperature of the test substance.
