Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The inhibition of the respiration of activated sludge when exposed to the substance was determined according to the OECD 209 and EU Method C.11. One valid experiment was performed. Activated sludge from a biologic sewage, taken from a domestic sewage treatment plant, was exposed to 4 concentrations ranging from 1000 to 1 mg/l nominal concentration for 3 hours. The dry matter was determined as 2.34 g suspended solids/l, giving a concentration of 1.17 g suspended solids/l in the test. A positive control run in parallel and an EC50 of 9.6 mg/l was determined. As no significant inhibition was observed during the exposure of activated sludge with the test item, no additional experiment had to be performed.

NOEC (3h) ≥ 1000 mg/l

EC10 (3h) > 1000 mg/l

EC50 (3h)> 1000 mg/l
