Justification for classification or non-classification

Trimethylamine N-oxide is white solid powder that is not considered to possess explosive properties. Therefore the criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 as amended (the EU CLP Regulation) for explosives have not been met and trimethylamine N-oxide is not classified according to the CLP Annex I Part 2 Section 2.1.
