First-aid measures

-       After inhalation : Remove to fresh air. Keep patient warm. Seek immediately medical advice.

-       After skin contact : Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of water. Seek immediately medical advice.

-       After eye contact : Rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Immediately call in ophthalmologist.

-       After swallowing : Do not make the victim vomit. Do not give anything orally. Alert a physician

-       Instructions for the physician : Treat according to symptoms. Keep the victim under medical surveillance

Protection of rescuers : suitable chemical protection clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media : sprayed water, CO2, foam, powder

Special risks : Toxic gases : COx

Inadvisable media: water jet

Special protective equipment for fire fighting: Do not stay in dangerous zone without suitable chemical protection clothing and self-contained respiratory apparatus.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Personal protective equipment :

 Respiratory protection: Handle with a cartridge (AB) mask only.

 Eye protection : chemical safety goggles.

 Hand protection : safety gloves

 Body protection : Protective handled clothing should be selected specifically for the working place, depending on concentration and quantity of the hazardous substances handled. The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with the respective supplier.

      

Industrial hygiene : Wear the protective equipment. Handle under fumehood. Do not eat nor drink at the workplace. Wash hands and face after handling.
