Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

After inhalation: Supply fresh air. Seek medical treatment in case of complaints.

After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

After swallowing: If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Drink plenty of water and provide fresh air. Call for a doctor immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: Fire-extinguishing powder, Foam, Carbon dioxide, Water.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon monoxide (CO), Hydrocarbons.

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.

Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective clothing. Avoid formation of dust. Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. Avoid formation of dust. Dispose of the material collected according to regulations.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Wear protective clothing. Prevent formation of dust. Provide suction extractors if dust is formed. Any unavoidable deposit of dust must be regularly removed. Avoid contact with

the eyes and skin.

Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Provide acid-resistant floor. Keep container tightly sealed. Protect from humidity and water. Store in dry conditions.

Exposure controls / personal protection

General protective and hygienic measures: The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Avoid contact with the eyes

and skin. Use skin protection cream for skin protection. Do not inhale dust. Do not eat, drink, smoke or sniff while working.

Respiratory protection: Use suitable respiratory protective device when high concentrations are present.

Recommended filter device for short term use: Filter P1, Filter FFP1

Protection of hands: Protective gloves

Material of gloves: Butyl rubber, BR, Nitrile rubber, NBR

The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.

Eye protection: Safety glasses or face shield

Body protection: Protective work clothing

Stability and reactivity

No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.

Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
