Exposure controls / personal protection

Additional information about design of technical systems.

Properly operating chemical fume hood designed for hazardous chemicals and having an average face velocity of at least 100 feet per minute.

Control parameters: The product does not contain any relevant quantities of materials with critical values that have to be mo itored at the workplace.

General protective and hygienic and precautionary measures

The usual precautionary measures should be adhered to in handling the chemicals. Keep away from foodtuffs, beverages and food. Instantly remove any soiled and impregnated garments. Wash hands during breaks and at the end of work. Store protective clothing separately. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Maintain an ergonomically appropriate working environment.

Breathing equipment: use self-contained respiratory protective device in emergency situations.

Protection of hands: check protective gloves prior to each use for their proper condition. The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Material of gloves: use imperious gloves.

Eye protection: use tightly sealed safety glasses, full face protection.

Body protection: use protective work clothing.

Stability and reactivity

Reactifvity, no information known.

Chemical stability, Stable under recommended storage conditions.

Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided, no decomposition if used and stored according to specification.

Possibility of harardous reaction, reacts with strong oxidising agents.

Incompatible materials, bases and oxidising agents.

Hazardous decomposition products: carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Hydrogen chloride (HCl).

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods. Hand over to disposers of hazardous waste. Must be specially treated under adherence to official regulation. Consult state, local or national regulations for proper disposal.

Uncleaned packaging: Disposal must be made according to official regulation.
