Additional information

The key study was chosen on the basis that it is a reliable, well reported study conducted in accordance with recognised OECD and EU guidelines and also to GLP standard. In addition, the purity of the test substance was 99.66% dimethyltin dichloride and the species used were Daphnia magna, the most typical species used to address this endpoint.

All of the supporting studies gave EC50 values in the range of 10 - 100 mg/L, which would lead to the same CLP classification as the key study, although most were only conducted for 24 hours.
