Administrative data

First-aid measures

General advice:

Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately. Adhere to personal protective measures when giving first aid. If someone exposed to the product feels unwell, contact a doctor and show this safety data sheet. In case of a pregnancy, contact a physician.

Inhalation:

Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm. Call in a physician immediately and show him the Safety Data Sheet. In case of a pregnancy, contact a physician.

Skin contact:

In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with plenty of water. Call in a physician immediately and show him the Safety Data Sheet.

Eye contact:

Rinse immediately with gently running water for 15 minutes, maintaining eyelids open. Consult at once an ophthalmologist or a physician.

Ingestion:

Do not induce vomiting. Call in a physician immediately and show him the Safety Data Sheet. Let plenty of water be drunk in small gulps. In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with plenty of water. Call in a physician immediately and show him the Safety Data Sheet.

Treatment: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water mist, water spray jet, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder

In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO).

Wear impermeable protective clothing (jacket and trousers) with helmet. Use self-contained breathing apparatus.

Fire residues and contaminated fire fighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.

Accidental release measures

Wear personal protective equipment. Unprotected persons must be kept away. Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear acid-resistant boots.

Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil.

030: Pick up with absorbent material (e.g. sand, kieselguhr, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal considerations". Containers in which spilt substance has been collected must be adequately labelled.

Handling and storage

Handling: During its whole lifecycle the substance is handled in closed system under strictly controlled conditions in accordance to Art. 18(4, a-f) of the REACH legislation. This fact is confirmed by the producer and the user of the product.

Storage: Keep only in the original container. Keep container tightly closed in a well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained.

Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment techical, organizational and PPE

measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the

handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is

controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.

Stability and reactivity

When handled and stored appropriately no dangerous reactions are known.

Disposal considerations

Product: In accordance with regulations for special waste, must be taken to an authorised special waste incineration plant.

Contaminated packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste
