Results and discussion

Water solubility
Key result
Water solubility:
ca. 0 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Remarks:
No meterial was observed to dissolve
Loading of aqueous phase:
0.26 g/L
Incubation duration:
10 min
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
7
Remarks on result:
other: not soluble
Details on results:
0.13g of sample was weighed into a weighing boat on a 4-figure balance; this was transferred to a
250ml measuring cylinder. 100 ml of water was added to the measuring cylinder, and then stirred
for 10 minutes. It was then inspected; all the sample was not in solution. The test was then repeated
using the same weight of sample but adding it to a 500 ml measuring cylinder and adding 500 ml of
water, the solution was stirred for 10 minutes. It was then inspected; none of the sample was in
solution. 1-5 DNN is not soluble in water.
