Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the water solubility of the test substance was determined to be 24450.0 ± 1010.0 mg/mL at 20°C and pH 6.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the water solubility of the test substance, according to OECD guideline 105 and EU Method A.6 (Flask method). The solubility of the test substance in water was determined by measurement of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentrations in the membrane filtered test solutions using TOC analyser.

Based on results of preliminary test, six different loading rates ranging from 50 -150 g/L were chosen to study the effect of loading rate on the measured water solubility followed by sampling and DOC analysis after 24, 48, and 72h. No Tyndall effect (i.e. a laser beam was not scattered when transmitted through the liquid) could be observed indicating that no colloidal dispersed particles are present. As the relative standard deviation between the six determinations of the water solubility was low (4.1%), an exact value for the solubility of the test susbstance in water could be stated. Under the study conditions, the water solubility of the test substance was determined to be 24450.0 ± 1010.0 mg/mL at 20°C and pH 6 (Affolter, 2016).
