Description of key information

The melting point of Acetoguanamine is 277 °C. This information was taken from a peer-reviewed handbook (Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry) and two collections of data ("Acetoguanamin-Stoffsicherheit" and "Guanamine-Produktstudie").

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
277 °C

Additional information

There are three different data sources available. In the data collection "Acetoguanamin-Stoffsicherheit" the melting point was denoted in a range from 273 - 276 °C. In the data collection "Guanamine-Produktstudie" and the peer-reviewed handbook "Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry" the value is stated to be 277 °C. Therefore the value 277 °C was used as key value for chemical safety assessment.
