Additional information

In addition, based on QSAR (HYDROWIN v2.00) and a read across study from Fatty acids, C16 -C18 and C18 -unsatd., branched and linear, Bu esters, it is established that hydrolysis represents a negligible pathway for the environmental fate for the Fatty acid esters in the category (DT50 > 1 yr). Due the ready biodegradability hydrolysis testing is not required under REACh. Two supporting study entries (QSAR and a read cross to Fatty acids, C16-18 and C18-unsatd., branched and linear, Bu esters CAS: 163961 -32 -8) indicate that the test substance is hydrolytically stable with a half-life of >1 year.
