Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

No sediment toxicity study is available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex X and section 3 of Annex XI, studies on sediment toxicity do not need to be conducted, as the substance has a low potential for adsorption (log Kow = 2.53). No significant concentrations are expected in the sediment compartment. This is supported by exposure assessment with ECETOC TRAM tool indicating low exposure to the sediment compartment. Predicated regional PEC and the predicted maximal local PEC in sediment are very low and indicated no risk for the sediment compartment, therefore toxicity tests on sediment dwellers are not needed.
