Additional information

To determine LC50 of Sodium diacetate for Daphnia read across was applied and the value was calculated according to the method of Toxic Unit Summation.

Based on experimental data on Acetic acid (48 h EC50 was 65 mg/L) and Sodium Acetate (48 h EC50 was higher than 1000 mg/L), the 48h EC 50 for Sodium diacetate is calculated to be higher than 141 mg/L for Daphnia.
