The substance is considered as acutely harmful for algae

EC50 for freshwater algae:
61 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
21.5 mg/L

Additional information

As key study regarding the toxicity to aquatic alge a static GLP test using Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata as test organsism was identified. In the study following OECD guideline 201 the calculated EC50 (72h) value was estimated to be 61.0 mg/L, related to the mean measured concentrations (BASF SE 2012).
