Description of key information
The no observed effect concentration (NOEC) for DEDG was 1000 mg/L.
The EC20, EC50 and EC80 (3 Hours) for inhibition could not be calculated but must be >1000 mg/L, the highest concentration tested in this study.

An Activated Sludge Respiration Inhibition Test (ASRIT) was conducted (Huntingdon Life Sciences, 2012) to determine the effect of DEDG on microorganisms. The test was conducted according to OECD test guideline 209 and in compliance with GLP.
DEDG did not significantly inhibit the respiration rates of the samples of activated sludge.
The no observed effect concentration (NOEC) for DEDG was 1000 mg/L.
