Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The objective of this study was to assess the acute toxicity of methyl undec-10-enoate dispersed in fresh water, to Oncorhynchus mykiss, in a 96-hour semi-static test complying with OECD Guideline (No. 203, 17th July 1992) and Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (C.1, 31st July 1992). Based on geometric mean of measured concentrations, LC50 = 0.756 mg/L

Additional information

The objective of this study was to assess the acute toxicity of methyl undec-10-enoate dispersed in fresh water, to Oncorhynchus mykiss, in a 96-hour semi-static test complying with OECD Guideline (No. 203, 17th July 1992) and Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (C.1, 31st July 1992). The criterion measured is the LC50 (Median Lethal Concentration), a statistically derived concentration of the test item which is expected to cause death in 50% of the animals.

Finally, as a result, under the given experimental conditions, the 96-hour LC50 of methyl undec-10-enoate in a semi-static test system was 0.756 mg/L based on geometric mean of measured concentrations, for Oncorhynchus mykiss.
