Additional information

In a study by Walton et al (1992) adsorption of CTC (in a mixture of 10 chemicals at 100 mg/kg dw) was carried out with 2 soils a sandy loam (oc = 0.68 %) and a silt loam (oc = 1.37 %). It was found that the Kocmeans from 7 determinations were 143.6±32.11 for the silt loam and 48.9±16.16 for the sandy loam, while the weighted mean Kocvalue for both soils was calculated being 115.2.
