New guidance on consumer exposure
DUCC and CONCAWE have published guidance on Specific Exposure Consumer Determinants (SCEDs). The guidance document and factsheet are available under the DUCC website:
and the CONCAWE website:
SCEDs document typical conditions of use of consumer products, expressed in a form that can be fed into the commonly applied exposure assessment tools. They are intended to represent realistic assumptions for consumer exposure assessments.
The SCEDs concept was initiated in 2012. The activity has since been integrated into the ECHA CSR/ES Roadmap, action 2.5. It has been presented and discussed during Exposure Network on Exposure Scenario (ENES) events.
